The Martin LX1E is the ultimate travelling companion that still offers singer-songwriters an instrument with real quality tone and a Fishman electronic pickup. Little guitar, big tone! Easily Martin's most popular acoustic to date, the LX1E (known as the Mini Martin or Little Martin!) has won the hearts of smaller players, students and even seasoned players. From such a small, mini-dreadnought body, it offers surprisingly good projection, making it the ultimate campfire instrument. Now fitted with a top quality Fishman Sonitone electronics, the LX1E is stage-ready for live performance or ready to record at home or in the studio. The HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) back and sides are lightweight and help reduce the costs, while still displaying the beautiful wood grains found on more expensive Martin solidbodies. A solid sitka spruce top is light, rigid and offers beautiful tone. The Mini Martin includes a padded gig bag for easy transport and protection from the elements.
