Item Description

Sigma 35mm f1.4 - A premium prime lens This solidly constructed prime lens from Sigma will be just as at home on a full-frame DSLR as it will on a smaller format APS-C body. On the larger full-frame bodies the wide 35mm focal length will surely be appreciated, a classic length that has traditionally been used by serious photographers for landscape, documentary and photojournalism purposes, plus lots more. A large f1.4 maximum aperture is the real drawcard of this lens, rewarding users with excellent handheld usability and depth of field control. No matter what the subject matter, the Sigma 35mm f1.4 is well-equipped to photograph it beautifully, with you being in the comforting position of shooting with faster shutter speeds, which eliminates camera shake and having the final say over how much of your image is in focus. If you want only your foreground subject to be sharp and detailed, open that wide aperture right up and be prepared to be amazed by your results. Hyper Sonic Motor Moving objects and video shooting are no obstacle for the Sigma 35mm f1.4, thanks to the inclusion of a Hyper Sonic Motor, resulting in fast autofocus. Speed is not the only benefit of this focus motor, it is also smooth and quiet. All of these characteristics gel together to create a very pleasing user experience and more importantly, pleasing final results. Distracting focus sounds will not ruin your home movies and if you are photographing people, they will not become self conscious and guarded by a noisy lens.
