The Canon EOS 1000F is a 35mm film SLR camera from the early 1990s that features autofocus and autoexposure, making it a popular choice for both beginners and professionals. Also known as the Rebel S(II) in the US, it was built with an EF lens mount and included automatic and manual modes, a built-in flash, and a self-timer. Key features Autofocus and autoexposure: Offers both automatic and manual control over exposure. Modes include Program, Aperture-priority (Av), Shutter-priority (Tv), and Manual. EF lens mount: Compatible with a wide range of Canon EF lenses. Built-in flash: Features an automatic, pop-up flash with TTL flash metering for low-light shooting. Shutter: Includes a vertical-travel, electronic focal-plane shutter with speeds from 30 seconds to second. Self-timer: Equipped with a 12-second self-timer. ISO range: Automatically sets film speed based on the DX code on the film cartridge, with a range of ISO 6 to 6400. Continuous shooting: Capable of shooting up to 1 frame per second in its continuous mode. Compact and lightweight: Designed to be compact and easy to carry.
