Sound according to the expert AirPods Max don't enhance the low frequencies or the mid-range frequencies. The frequency response is reasonably neutral, so you can enjoy balanced audio. The bass, instruments, and vocals aren't boosted. There's no equalizer available for these headphones, so you have to settle for the default settings.
