FIFA 20 on Nintendo Switch is a "Legacy Edition," meaning it has updated rosters/kits but uses the older FIFA 19 gameplay engine (Ignite), lacking new modes like VOLTA Football and significant innovations from PS4/Xbox One, running at a capped 30 FPS, with modes for 1-8 players, supporting docked/handheld/tabletop play with split Joy-Con support for local multiplayer. Key features include updated teams, familiar modes (Career, Ultimate Team), and local multiplayer options, but with a less advanced feel than other platforms due to engine limitations.
