The CKK Electronics ‘Q Cat' is a fully analogue filter effect which creates a similar sound to a wah pedal. The intensity and speed of your playing controls how aggressive the effect becomes, whilst the frequence control controls the moving interval of the wah filter. Setting the frequence control counter clockwise gives it a shaper funky rhythm effect, whereas clockwise works well for a smooth lead sound. The resonance control adjusts the intensity of the effect, taking it from light wah to a more puncy rhythm. Finally, the recover switch controls the opening speed of and dynamics of the wah filter. All these controls allow you to use the filter effect as little or as much as you like, creating some incredibly fun sounds, giving your music a unique sound, anything from blues and jazz to metal.
