The Gamages Of London Limited Edition Hand Assembled Automatic Steel men’s watch is inspired by the life, times, and achievements of Edmund Allenby, the 1st Viscount Allenby appointed Field Marshal a year after World War I. He commanded troops throughout the Second World War and beyond, and became one of the most decorated figures in British military history. Powered by intricate 163 part 21 jewel hand-assembled automatic movement, the hands command the deep red dial, enhanced by a steel inner ring and 12-Hour analogue indices. The Date, Day, Month and Minute Counters serve as finalising characteristics, and hint at a traditionally military function that assisted the finest combat tacticians throughout history. The stainless steel Milanese bracelet delivers armour-like details to the timepiece, while the Gamages Of London logo engraved stainless steel caseback represents the proud heritage that Allenby brought with him to every battlefield, and used it to inspire his troops.
