Makita DHP482Z 18V LXT Cordless Combi Drill The new Makita DHP482 18V LXT Combi Drill is a mid-level drill from Makita. It is great for DIY use and can cope with on-site use too, it comes with built in electric brake, 2 speed control trigger and twin LED work light to help see in low light. Powered by Makita's Li-Ion battery platform. The four-pole Makita motor has a maximum torque output of 62Nm, a maximum speed of 1,900 RPM, and a maximum pulse rate of 28,500 BPM. For greater comfort, it weighs only 1.8Kg (with battery, available separately). The drill is designed for usage in difficult jobsite circumstances and has greater dust and water resistance thanks to Extreme Protection Technology (XPT). A single 13mm keyless chuck with a single sleeve facilitates quick bit changes, and two LED lights illuminate the work area. Drilling capacity range from 13 millimetres in masonry and steel to 38 millimetres in wood. A 21-stage torque setting enables precise screwdriving in both high and low gear. It can accept all 18v LXT Li-Ion batteries between 1.5 and 5Ah as it is a member of the Makita Lithium-Ion family and has a battery protection circuit to avoid overload and overheating. Better grip and vibration reduction are provided by a rubber-molded handle, and a convenient belt clip can be fastened on either the left or the right hand
