The Joy-Con controllers communicate with the console using Bluetooth, can attach to the main console for handheld play, or be shared with friends for two-player action. The right Joy-Con Controller includes an NFC touchpoint for interaction with supported toys and games, and the left and right Joy-Con Controllers can together trigger HD rumble—providing an immersive gaming experience. With HD Rumble, you can feel it when ice cubes collide and when water is poured into a glass. The Joy-Con Controller is compatible with the Nintendo Switch and offers new ways to play games. The controller can be used as a traditional controller or two individual controllers. The HD rumble function allows for sensing touch beyond mere vibration. The IR Motion Camera senses shape, movements, and distance. The controller also includes Joy-Con straps to enjoy Joy Con’s motion control.
