Resistance is a brand-new, full length entry into the epic Sniper Elite series from the masters of the long-distance kill, Rebellion. Once again you're called to 1940s France for some stealthy shooting action, with a new protagonist and a Nazi plot that could just change the course of the war. With sandbox gameplay and an array of authentic World War II gear at your disposal, you're given a target, but how you take them out is entirely up to you. As is often the case with these immersive sims, a big part of the fun is playing around with ways to get things done. You might try planting explosives around town, then shooting them to create a series of distractions. Or maybe strapping a grenade to a dead Nazi, then using the corpse as a lure will be your murder strategy of choice. Throw in the return of the gruesome, up-close-and-personal x-ray cam, plus some tense online multiplayer, and Rebellion are onto a winner.
