Item Description

The Skytec SP1200A is a traditional design for active PA speakers, featuring a sturdy ABS plastic casing with moulded carry handles and a lean-back shape to allow use as a wedge monitor. Skytec active powered speakers provide excellent performance and reliability. The SP1500A active speakers have a 12" main driver and a 1" piezo horn tweeter unit that provide a full-range output of 50Hz-18kHz. They are powered by a 600W max / 300W RMS power amplifier which includes treble and bass adjustment and a master volume control. The robust cabinet design of these powered PA speakers allows for floor operation, pole installation, foldback monitoring, and even stacking. They include built-in handles for easy movement and are ideal for busy mobile DJs and live performers. These active PA speakers 2-way design provides a full-range performance with strong bass and a clean top-end that works well with both recorded and live music. The SP1200A features a convenient direct microphone input with balanced and unbalanced connectors and its own volume control, as well as XLR and stereo RCA line inputs for connecting a direct audio source or a mixer feed. The SP1200A active speakers have a line output allowing simple daisy-chaining of additional powered PA speakers, with either a 6.35mm jack or an XLR socket to suit your chosen cable method. The output includes an anti-clip system with LED indication, and the amplifier is fused to protect against both heat damage and power spikes.
