Item Description

The Longines Flagship Collection is a 2001 reissue of a collection from 1957. As one of Longines' most popular models, the Flagship is a watch steeped in history. It was the second-ever Longines model to be given a name. The watches in this line are classic and robust. The understated simplistic silhouette makes the Flagship collection ideal for day-to-day wear. The minimal complications on the dial mean that the models are also suitable for any special occasion. Core Features of the Flagship Collection: The dial is encased by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal coated with several anti-reflective layers on the underside. All models include hours, minutes, seconds and date functions. Model Specifications L49843207: This model exhibits a matte white dial with a date aperture at 3 o'clock. The dial also features gold-plated hands and applied baton indices. A stainless steel case, with a yellow gold PVD-coated bezel, frames the dial. It measures 40mm in diameter. The exhibition case back allows the wearer to view the movement that powers the watch, The watch is finished with a two-tone stainless steel bracelet. The bracelet fastens with a triple safety folding clasp and push-piece opening mechanism. This watch is splash-resistant and should not be submerged in water. Movement Type - Automatic with a monocrystalline silicon balance spring and a 72-hour power reserve. Calibre - L888.
