The EOS 450D combines absolute performance and ease of use in a lightweight, ergonomic body. Capture the world as you perceive it with the 12.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor and the latest Canon technologies. The 12.2 megapixel CMOS sensor allows for detailed poster-size prints and provides increased cropping potential. With high sensitivity in low light and generating almost no noise, Canon CMOS sensors are also characterized by their low power consumption. The EOS 450D records at 3.5 frames per second in a burst of 53 images in JPEG and 6 in RAW format. The 9 AF points are distributed across the entire framing for optimal focus on non-centered subjects. The central AF point corresponds to a high-sensitivity crossover type sensor for focusing with remarkable speed and accuracy from f/2.8 or with even larger aperture lenses. The integrated Canon sensor cleaning system uses three methods to eliminate imperfections on images. (1) Specific materials reduce the formation of dust inside the device. (2) A self-cleaning device expels dust from the sensor each time the appliance is turned on. (3) Persistent dust is located and removed by a function of the Digital Photo Professional software. The bright 3.0-inch LCD screen allows you to check focus and composition and offers 10x magnification to check the most detailed details. When shooting that requires a somewhat tricky position, the Direct View Mode allows you to frame the image from the LCD screen and also offers two choices of focus modes. The DIGIC III processor is renowned for its precision white balance, producing vibrant, true-to-life colours. Recorded images are processed with 14-bit color depth for more accurate gradation. The DIGIC III processor works efficiently to minimize power consumption while ensuring high responsiveness of the device. The large size viewfinder ensures clear and bright aiming for easy composition. Really take control of image processing settings with Image Styles presets. Contrast, sharpness and saturation can be customized directly from the camera or using the included Picture Style Editor software. After shooting, Digital Photo Professional, Canon RAW image processing software, provides everything you need to efficiently manage and process RAW images. Characterized by excellent ergonomics for a natural and intuitive grip, the case also stands out for its weight of only 475g. The EOS 450D is compatible with over 60 Canon EF/EF-S lenses and all Canon Speedlite EX flashes. An affordable standard zoom lens suited to a variety of subjects.
