The Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM is a consumer-grade telephoto zoom lens designed for use with Canon crop-sensor cameras like the Canon EOS T5i and 70D. Key features include: __Low-Cost Telephoto Zoom. __ On a Canon crop-sensor camera, it provides a focal length equivalent to 88-400mm. While it’s not going to match the quality of an L-series zoom, it will produce good quality images and video in good lighting conditions. __STM Focusing Motor. __ The STM stepping motor provides smooth, continuous Servo focusing during video recording when used with a camera that supports this mode (Canon EOS T5i, T4i and 70D). Its rear-focusing design enables fast autofocus performance with a non-rotating front element. __Image Stabilization. __ The in-lens stabilizer helps to eliminate camera shake by up to 3.5 stops.
