He might be the frontman of a Grammy award winning punk band, but Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong is a seasoned acoustic player, writing all his tracks on a vintage '60s Fender acoustic. The Tim Armstrong Hellcat is inspired by that very same concert style acoustic. This 12 string version offering a really cool alternative to the 6 string version. With a solid Mahogany top on a laminate Mahogany body, it offers a lovely deep, resonant, natural tone. Great for a wide range of styles, the Hellcat is much more than just a signature guitar. A sweet Maple neck with a soft satin finish features a 20-Fret Rosewood fingerboard, with Hellcat and double skull inlays. A real punk rock touch! A Fishman Isys III Pickup/Preamp system offers a huge range of onboard controls, including a built in tuner, perfect for the gigging musician.
