The extremely fast screen of the ASUS VG248QE Gaming Monitor shortens the time it takes to display the calculated frames on the screen. The reduced screen delay allows gamers to improve their game response time. By precisely controlling the voltage levels of the liquid crystals, the response time has been reduced to 1ms, so that image delays are prevented and a smooth and clear image reproduction is achieved. Conventional 60Hz LCD screens are extremely blurred for motion and can have a disturbing effect especially in games with fast motion sequences. The fast ASUS VG248QE 144Hz gaming monitors have only half of these blur effects, so there's a noticeable difference in natural motion and sharp detail in fast-paced gaming scenarios. ASUS Splendid Video Intelligence technology optimises image quality by analysing the individual pixels of a full image. In this way, brightness, contrast, sharpness and colours can be optimally adjusted. In addition to dynamic image analysis, the user also has six different image settings at his disposal (Standard, Nightview, Landscape, Gaming, sRGB and Theater), which can be controlled via a hotkey.
