Nintendo Switch Details Nintendo Switch is a powerful and premium handheld gaming console manufactured by popular gaming tech giant Nintendo. Released in March 2017, this amazing gaming console features a hybrid design philosophy and lets you switch between different gaming experiences. From portable gaming to home based conventional console gaming on the big screen, it has been designed to do it all. In terms of function, it is no different than a tablet and comes with a 6.2-inch multitouch LCD screen with an HD 720p screen resolution. The unit boasts a power button on the top along with volume control, game card, audio jack, stereo speakers, USB C Charging Port and a brightness sensor. The console comes with 32GB internal storage to store your games. Storage can be easily expanded by adding micro SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards (up to 2TB supported). The coolest part of the console is its Joy-Con wireless controllers. They come with standard physical buttons and a directional joystick. What makes it different then previous models is its motion sensing capability for a thrilling gaming experience. The Joy-Cons attach to the console via Grips when not being used for motion controls. The console can be placed into the Switch Dock which is essentially a docking station that can power up the console. The Dock can then be connected to your Digital HDTV via HDMI. The graphics on the console are powered by NVIDIA Custom Tegra Processor. Furthermore, parental controls are provided built-in so you can be sure that kids are protected from any undesired access to prohibited material. Other interesting features of the Nintendo Switch are Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth v4.1, LAN adapter support, HDMI, 5.1ch Linear PCM audio, accelerometer, gyroscope, linking up to 8 systems for multiplayer, online play and a Li-Ion 4310mAh battery with up to 6.5h play time depending on game graphics.
