Graded UKG 90+ (MT) Gold Archive No. VG009947 Metal Gear Solid is probably the best game ever to be made for the PlayStation and this additional special mission pack brings back the glory days. MGS Special Missions returns to the "Tactical Espionage Action", based mainly around the original VR training missions but with a few extra treats thrown in. Rumour has it that is was originally designed to entertain the Japanese gaming public without having to dive into MGS itself for a bit of action. The range of missions available varies as you progress through the game honing your skills. Most of the tasks only take a minute or two to complete, however, once you have put yourself through the paces in Special Missions, returning to the original MGS will reap rewards. Special Missions is very effective training, from sneaking without weapons to popping diazepam and honing your sniper skills. The game also contains some very bizarre levels and you get a chance to play the Ninja from MGS and get involved with some of the other characters.
