You can find Henry Currey’s classical designs in both Buxton and Eastbourne, where his influence is still seen in the 21st century ranging from estates to churches, and the baths that attract visitors from across the country. His distinctive style serves as the inspiration behind the Limited Edition Swan & Edgar Hand Assembled Currey Quadrant Automatic Two Tone men’s watch, which boasts a strong resemblance to the architect’s influence that has become as much of a character as many other attractions within these towns. The intricate 163 part 20 jewel hand assembled automatic movement serves as the centrepiece for this fine watch. Its rose gold IP case and chapter ring surrounds the pewter-grey dial with subtle honeycomb detail in the centre. The luminous hands and Minutes and Date counters provide further enticing details, which unveils a more significant style with every passing second. The stone-black Milanese bracelet provides a sturdy yet elegant appeal, while the Swan & Edgar logo engraved stainless steel caseback is reminiscent of the authentic and recognisable designs that made Currey one of the most respected architects of the Victorian era.
