The Tanglewood Winterleaf 12-string Folk Acoustic Guitar in Natural Cedar is a no-frills acoustic guitar with a great tone, easy playability, and fabulous aesthetic. The solid cedar top provides a slightly darker and 'sweeter' tone and is a very welcome addition at this price-point. Olive wood is a rarely-used tonewood and gives the back and sides of this guitar a wonderful grain pattern that belies the Winterleaf's affordability - at a quick glance you'd be convinced this is a high-end boutique instrument. The 'folk' body shape is smoothly shaped and seen as a mid-sized design; this makes it physically comfortable to hold and gives the guitar a well-rounded sound - ideal for fingerpicking and for singer-songwriters. The natural satin finish provides a smooth and tactile feel and allows the focus to go into the playability and tone of this instrument.
