Item Description

The Pioneer DM-40 Desktop Monitors are a pair of 4-inch high-quality speakers that produce a balanced, rich sound perfect for DJing, Producing, and general listening. Pioneer have packed into these compact monitors the high-quality speaker technology from Pioneers Pro audio sub-brand TAD and their very own S-DJ X series of pro-DJ monitors, which includes a front-loaded bass reflex system to give you a tight kick bass feel. They have also added soft dome tweeters with DECO convex diffusers to deliver a 3D stereo sound and also provide you with a wide sweet spot so that you can enjoy an energetic, clean sound whether you are sitting down when producing, standing when DJing or when listening to music. There are RCA and stereo mini jack inputs on the DM-40s to allow you to connect anything from your DJ or production setup to a smartphone or device, making these monitors a versatile all-rounder for any home setup. The front-loaded bass system starts with four fibreglass woofers that output the bass from the front, aided by the bass ducts which have grooves to reduce the air friction, so that you will feel a punchy bass even when the speakers are placed close to a wall. The soft dome tweeters that have been fitted are 3/4 inch wide and have convex diffusers that use DECO technology from the TAD Labs. The diffusers channel high frequencies right left and up, to create a wide sweet spot and also create a 3D stereo sound. The Tweeter and the woofer are both carefully positioned to eliminate crossover and ensure that you get a balanced response across the frequencies. They have also included class AB amplifiers to ensure that you get perfect clarity with little distortion and no loss of quality. The cabinet of the speaker has curved front edges to increase the rigidity of the speakers and also reduce external diffraction while keeping a stylish look to fit perfectly in your home set up.
