The fifth generation NT1 is also the world's first 32-bit floating point recording microphone via USB-C which matches the dynamic range of the capsule with your device's A/D converters. Another groundbreaking new addition is the built-in DSP (digital signal processing) providing advanced APHEX audio processing with a range of effects including a compressor, high-pass filter, noise gate, and more.
