Item Description

The Mitchell Avocet Black Edition free spool reel is a reliable, strong and very smooth rotating reel with an accurately functioning free spool system. Great spinning reel for both beginners and the more advanced anglers! The reels are built with strong, but lightweight graphite body and special Halo rotor, aluminium spool and Zinc alloy inner parts. The parallel line lay oscillation system ensures excellent line-lay, resulting in optimal casting distance. Ideal reel to add to the carp fishing set up of the carp angler, fishing for predators with deadbait or method feeder fishing with carp bait for species like chub and barbel. Comes in 5500 / 6500 sizes with 5.1:1 gear ratio and 0.78 and 0.87cm line retrieve by handle turn. The reels come pre spooled with carp fishing line in a dark brown color, ideal for the beginning or recreational carp, coarse and feeder angler. Since Mitchell invented the world’s first spinning reel back in 1948, fishing and fishing tackle has been in our blood. Mitchell brings joy to anglers.
