Robust and powerful 18 V XR battery with 5 Ah storage capacity. No memory effect and minimal self-discharge thanks to the latest Li-ion technology. Optimally suited for tough everyday use thanks to robust housing and impact-resistant, soldered battery cells. Lowest contact resistance when connecting the individual battery cells thanks to special soldering technology. Large-surface contacts are protected against accidental short-circuiting. The housing made of chemical and fuel-resistant, glass fibre-reinforced nylon enables problem-free use in suitable environments, such as certain industrial and automotive areas. An additional rubber coating on the housing provides effective protection against damage when employees are working on objects with surface-sensitive materials. A reliable capacity indicator via 3 LEDs ensures controllable use. Despite its compact dimensions, it has a very high battery capacity of 5 Ah, which makes it ideal for long-term use. Suitable for all cordless tools from the DeWALT 18 volt XR battery range. Can be charged with all DeWALT XR system fast chargers.
