Item Description

The Marshall 1959 Distortion/Overdrive Pedal is an all-analog, true-bypass stompbox designed to recreate the legendary crunch, organic overdrive, and responsive feel of the iconic 1959 Super Lead "Plexi" amplifier in a compact, pedalboard-friendly format. Key Features & Channel Blending: Four-Knob Interface: Features High Treble, Normal, Tone, and Volume controls. Replicated Two-Channel Architecture: The High Treble and Normal knobs function independently just like the distinct channels on the original 1959 amp head. Guitarists can blend these two controls together to mix bright, biting attack with thick, bass-heavy warmth without needing an actual physical patch cable. Amp-Like Gain Behavior: Increasing the High Treble and Normal controls simultaneously adds gain, pushing the tone from clean, jangly Plexi edge-of-breakup into classic rock saturation. Dynamic Response: Exceptionally responsive to picking dynamics and cleans up smoothly using the guitar's volume knob. Tour-Ready Enclosure: Built with a gold chassis, black textured faceplate, rugged tactile knobs, top-mounted jacks, and an illuminated foot pedal for stage visibility.
