NI Maschine, Production Instruments Native Instrument's Maschine MK2 is a music creation system that combines powerful software with a versatile, high quality hardware controller. The revised MK2 model features 16 velocity sensitive colourised pads and 2 screens which display all the required information you need to work without looking your computer's screen. The Maschine MK2 software will work as a virtual instrument within your DAW or can even function as a DAW itself, allowing you to launch additional plug-in instrument and effects within it. The software comes complete with a huge 8GB library of samples and kits spanning a range of genres, new features in the MK2 software include sided chaining, unlimited insert FX, a sleek intuitive mixer section and a new improved sequencer that makes arranging your tracks a breeze. The included drum synths provide tweakable percussion sounds with limitless possibilities so you can create your own individual signature hits. The latest version 2.2 software brings more new features, the keyboard mode has a new integrated scale and chord engine, once a scale has been selected each of the 16 pads will be in key so you cannot play a wrong note. The note repeat function has now been expanded into a functional arpeggiator which can be used in conjunction with the scale and chord functions to produce impressive results. Maschine offers tight integration with Native Instruments Komplete software, browse and load instruments and effects using the tag based browser system. Key parameters map to Machines' hardware knobs for immediate tweak-ability.
