Description The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 is a 2-channel DJ Controller with a professional look and feel and is ideal for beginner DJs. The FLX4 inherits key features from the layout of the DDJ-400 with the added user-friendly design that ensures learning to DJ has never been easier. In addition, the DJ Controller has multiple software compatibility, multi-device support, brand new Smart Mixing features, provides seamless integration with streaming services and includes USB audio output for microphone sound. Software Compatibility The DJ Controller can use various DJ software, including rekordbox and Serato DJ Lite. Users have the option to use Performance mode in rekordbox and also have to option to upgrade Serato DJ Lite to Serato DJ Pro by obtaining the appropriate licence or subscription. All software options allow tracks to be played from devices and streaming services such as Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming, SoundCloud Go+ and TIDAL. Multiple Device Support The DDJ-FLX4 can be connected to many devices, including PC and Mac, Tablet, iPad, iPhone or Android phones. Additionally, with a forecasted major rekordbox update coming in early 2023, connecting all devices via Bluetooth and USB cable will be possible. Resources for Beginner DJs For those wanting to learn how to DJ, tutorials can be found within rekordbox, which introduces the user to DJing and guides them through the basics. The layout of the FLX4 is simply arranged, making it intuitive to use and easy to learn. It is also compact enough to be easily transported. Smart Mixing Features If you are new to mixing, then the Smart Mixing features are there to assist. Through the Smart Fader feature, the volume, bass volume and BPM are automatically adjusted. This results in smooth transitioning from one track to the next by a simple move of the channel faders or crossfader. This will help you with the fundamental skills of DJing and learning other new skills. Effects can also be easily added by turning the knob so you can play around making unique sounds in any performance. USB Audio Output for Microphone Sound A handy feature incorporated into the DDJ FLX4 is having an output for a microphone that is excellent for MCing, singing or live-streaming sets. The audio is mixed for you and eliminates the need for a separate mixer or sound card to blend the audio with the music before transferring it to a computer or selected device. In this instance, all you need is the one device connected to the FLX4 to hear the sound of the mix combined with the sound from the mic.
