Item Description
If you've ever been inside, or seen a picture of a radio studio, you'll recognise the Shure SM7B instantly. They're quite popular! The SM7B is a dynamic microphone with a flat frequency range that was tailored for speech and vocals. It features full magnetic shielding to prevent interference from devices like computer screens and telephones, making it perfect for use in a studio environment. Background noise is countered by a bass roll-off filter, while handling noise is reduced by the special built-in 'air suspension' shock mount.. Shure is all about the technological side of things. No wonder the SM7B microphone has an exceptionally wide frequency range that extends from 50 Hz to 20 kHz, covering virtually the entire spectrum of human hearing. Its cardioid pickup pattern ensures that feedback won't be much of a problem, even in a noisy studio. Only the speech and vocals directed at the mic are captured, without being tainted by monitor sounds or background chatter from colleagues.
