The Sony HCD-SBT100B is the main compact disc receiver unit of the Sony CMT-SBT100B Micro Hi-Fi System. It delivers 50W RMS of power using Sony's proprietary S-Master digital amplifier to drive dual 2-way bass reflex speakers. This micro system blends classical physical playback with digital versatility, packing wireless Bluetooth streaming, NFC one-touch pairing, a tray-loading CD player, and a digital DAB/FM radio tuner into a sleek, brushed-metallic design. Key Specifications & Capabilities: Audio Power: 50W RMS total output power featuring an S-Master Digital Amplifier for crisp highs and digital clarity. Wireless Connectivity: Bluetooth pairing enhanced by NFC (Near Field Communication) for instantaneous one-touch smartphone streaming. It supports high-quality wireless decoding via the aptX codec. Physical Media: A front-facing tray-loading optical CD player supporting CD, CD-R, and CD-RW discs, alongside MP3, WMA, and AAC data formats. Radio Tuner: Built-in DAB / DAB+ (Band III) and traditional FM radio complete with RDS (Radio Data System) capabilities and up to 30 preset channels.
