Item Description

General Product Specifications for the Fox V1 (ECE 22.05) Shell Construction: Ultra-lightweight, injection-moulded polycarbonate and ABS plastic shell designed to disperse energy in the event of a crash. Safety Features: MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) equipped, which adds a low-friction layer between the head and helmet to reduce rotational forces on impact. (Note: some very old V1 models might not have MIPS, but most ECE 22.05 versions do). Magnetic Visor Release System (MVRS): (On some models) uses magnets instead of screws, allowing the visor to release in a crash. Dual-density EPS liner to spread impact forces. Fit and Comfort: Size: Large (L) corresponds to a head circumference of 59-60 cm. Engineered with multiple shell and EPS sizes (typically 3-4 shell and 4-6 EPS sizes) for a more precise fit across all helmet sizes. Removable and washable plush comfort liner and cheek pads. Ventilation: Features an extensive ventilation system for optimum airflow, typically with: 9 intake vents (including front and mouth vents). 4 exhaust vents to channel hot air out. Closure: Secure steel double D-ring chin strap closure. Weight: Approximately 1350 grams (+/- 50 g) for the ECE 22.05 version (varies slightly by size and specific graphic model). Additional Features: Adjustable visor with breakaway side screws. Available cold-weather kit (sold separately).
