Item Description

Bering was first launched as a watch brand in 2010 in Denmark by founder Michael Witt Johansen. Johansen was heavily influenced by his father’s travels to the Arctic and became fascinated by the tales of great adventure he would return home with. Johansen named his brand after Vitus Bering, a Danish sailor who crossed the straits that would later be named the Bering Straits in his honour. Bering watches are designed with a combination of Arctic beauty and modern, timeless Danish design. The Solar Watches are powered by a unique rechargeable battery that allows them to be powered by any kind of light. This ensures that each model remains precise and reliable for months without the wearer needing to take any action. The design of the Solar watches is characterised by its ultra-thin case and delicate Milanese strap. Core Features of the Bering Solar Collection: Bering watches are characterised by clear streamlined forms and pure elegance. The watches in this collection are powered by rechargeable batteries that are powered by any kind of light. The battery life can last up to 6-12 months on a single full charge. The dial of each watch is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass. Each model features a date aperture in the 3 o’clock position on the dial. Model Specifications 15239-727: This model features a blue dial with silver baton indices. The dial exhibits black hour, minute and second hands. A brushed black titanium case frames the dial. It measures 39mm in diameter and 8mm in thickness. The watch is finished with a black titanium bracelet that fastens with a folding clasp. This model is water-resistant up to 100 metres (10 bar).
