New from Fender, the American Ultra Series! Carrying on from the continued success of the Elite Series, Fender have introduced the Ultra, a modern powerhouse range from Fender's Corona factory. The most advanced production Fender production run ever, the Ultra is loaded with features the modern player craves.The Ultra Strat benefits from an Alder body, typically well balanced and comfortable, as all Strat's are, and with a cool Texas Tea finish it looks real slick. It's super resonant and delivers a bell like high end, punchy mids and robust lows with flawless precision. The Maple neck features a new 10"-14" compound radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. With a modern D shape profile and 22 medium jumbo frets, it offers a really comfortable playing experience; it's equally at home playing big chords or intricate lead work. The tapered heel allows for easy access right up the neck and the rolled fingerboard edges offer hours of playing comfort. A pair of Fender Ultra Noiseless single coils provide classic Strat spank without any hum or buzz. Modern and precise, but still retaining that classic Fender vibe, these pickups are an incredible step up in clarity and articulation. The Ultra Double Tap humbucker at the bridge delivers a big sound and can be spit for further tonal options.
