Item Description

The Gamages Of London Ladies Garrett Infinite in Dark Blue is named for Elizabeth Garrett Anderson, a suffragist who holds the distinction of being the First of multiple achievements during her lifetime. Not only was she the first woman to qualify as a surgeon and physician, but she also served as the first dean of a medical school in the UK. In 1908, Elizabeth became the first female mayor in British history when she was elected to the head seat in Aldeburgh. Powered by determined Swiss Quartz movement with a single genuine diamond, you are assured power and precision that directs the luminous hands across the dial. These are arranged around the arctic-blue dial with 12 Hour analogue operation within the dodecagon case. The rose stainless steel case and Gamages Of London logo engraved stainless steel caseback complete the timepiece, while the navy-blue leather bracelet secures it with a vigour that could only be found within the hearts of the women who fought for equality during their lifetime.
