The Nintendo 64 (N64) was Nintendo's fifth-generation home console, released in 1996, that competed with the Sony PlayStation and Sega Saturn. It was the last major home console to use ROM cartridges and was known for its 64-bit processing, 3D graphics capabilities, and its iconic three-pronged controller with an analog stick. Key features included a built-in four-player mode, 4 MB of RAM expandable to 8 MB with an Expansion Pak, and a variety of popular games like Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Tim
