Item Description

The Onkyo CR-715DAB is a compact CD receiver that includes a DAB/AM/FM radio tuner and delivers an impressive 50 watts per channel using hybrid digital amplification. Key Features and Specifications The Onkyo CR-715DAB is a component system designed to offer high-quality audio in a compact form factor. Amplification: The unit uses Onkyo's VL Digital Technology and a hybrid digital amplification topology, delivering 50 watts per channel into 4 ohms. It features a large transformer and high-capacity capacitor for enhanced performance. CD Player: The CD player supports standard audio CDs, as well as MP3-encoded CD-R/RW discs. It incorporates a high-grade Wolfson 192kHz/24-bit D/A converter, a feature often found in separate, high-end players. It also includes VLSC (Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry). Tuner: It includes a sensitive DAB tuner module for improved reception in weak signal areas, along with AM and FM radio reception, offering 40 station presets. It also supports RDS (Radio Data System) for compatible FM stations. Connectivity: The receiver features gold-plated inputs and outputs, including four audio inputs (one on the front panel for MP3 players), two audio outputs, a subwoofer pre-out, and an optical digital input. It also has a DC power out for an optional wireless USB audio transport (UWL-1).
