Based on the cult device TB-303 Roland raises the bar again with the TB-3 Touch Bassline. The bass synthesizer contains everything that was already found in the TB-303, but all in a modern guise, the centerpiece is the pressure-sensitive touch pad for intuitive operation. No one could have imagined the impact the TB-303 would have on the dance music scene after its release in the early 1980s. This machine became the standard for the electronic music movement, especially acid house, and was the basis for dance tracks that are still world-famous today. Not only were songs written with the TB-303, but it itself was the subject of many compositions. The release of the TB-303 was one of the defining moments in the history of dance music.
