Poplar is commonly used for guitar manufacture due to its lightweight properties and resonant tone. Comfortable Neck Profile The Squier Contemporary Stratocaster features a familiar slim C-shaped maple neck, which offers comfortable playability across the whole fingerboard, while its natural satin finish allows the player's hand to effortlessly glide, for high-speed styles. Topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets, players can achieve effortless bends, as well as a warm, rich tone. Ceramic Humbucker & Single-Coils As well as providing an iconic appearance, the Contemporary Strat HSS also produces familiar tones that will suit a variety of musical genres. Equipped with a pair of ceramic single-coil neck and middle pickups and a ceramic humbucker, the Squier Strat produces crisp and clear dynamics, as well as a hot output, perfect for crunchy leads, solos and main riffs. This powerful trio of pickups can be shaped using the 5-position blade and master volume and tone controls. Hardware This Contemporary Squier guitar is also equipped with a classic 2-point Synchronized tremolo bridge, allowing you to bend your pitch for added effect. Standard die-cast tuners are also included and provide you with accurate intonation.
