The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me follows the same structure as its predecessors and puts you in the shoes of someone struggling to survive under terrible circumstances. Instead of focusing on the supernatural like Man of Medan or House of Ashes, this episode pits you against a deadly assassin. You are part of a group of documentalists that have been invited to a hotel that has been turned into a modern replica of the place where the serial killer H. H.Holmes gave free rein to his lowest instincts. You consider it a great opportunity but soon enough your companions and you will find out that it was an error. Shortly after arriving at the hotel, you find yourselves in the hands of a mysterious murderer that toys with you while you try to find a way to escape.The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is a thrilling experience that you can enjoy with several other players or by yourself. The game pits you against complicated situations and the story evolves depending on your choices. The wrong decision may end with you or your companions suffering a gruesome death at the hands of the mysterious murderer. The game also features tool-based puzzles and new movement options for the first time in the series, making it significantly more challenging than its predecessors.
