TW Steel was founded in 2005 in the Netherlands by father and son team Jordy and Ton Cobelens. Though a fairly young brand, at only 15 years old, the Dutch watchmaker has managed to establish itself quickly amongst the competition. With Ton Cobelens’ years of experience in marketing and design and his son Jordy’s passion for business, TW steel has become an unstoppable force in the watchmaking industry. With innovation and progress at the centre of the brand’s philosophy, TW Steel’s journey has only just begun. Core Features of a TW Steel Watch: The brand sees steel as an essential component in the making of their timepieces, so they ensure they only use materials of the highest quality. TW Steel watches have a unique style. The watch design abandons “minimalism” and embraces a functional aesthetic. Model Specifications TW1019: This special edition watch is inspired by the iconic racer Peter Solberg. The watch features a black and blue colour scheme. Made of stainless steel the case measures 46 mm in diameter. The bezel is plated blue. The watch is secured with a black leather strap which has red top-stitching and steel rivets. The black dial is contrasted by blue and white hands and indices. Covering the dial is an anti-reflective sapphire coated crystal. Features on the watch include a chronograph and a date aperture. Water-resistant up to 100 meters or 10 bars.
