Item Description

The ESP LTD EC-407 is a purpose-built 7-string guitar designed for players who want extended range without sacrificing clarity or control. Its mahogany body with a maple cap provides a strong tonal foundation, combining deep, resonant lows with added brightness and definition. Finished in Black Satin with matching hardware, it offers a stripped-back, aggressive look that suits modern rock and metal styles perfectly. The 25.5" scale length helps maintain tight string tension on the low B, ensuring notes stay clear and defined even under heavy gain. A set-thru construction and three-piece maple neck provide stability and sustain, while the Thin U profile and pau ferro fingerboard offer a fast, comfortable playing surface across all 24 frets. Equipped with EMG 81-7 and EMG 707 active pickups, the EC-407 delivers powerful output, tight low end, and precise attack, making it ideal for high-gain performance and articulate rhythm work.
