Item Description

The 2022 Australian Piedfort Sovereign is a 22-carat gold coin minted by the Perth Mint to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. The coin is a high relief piedfort, meaning it's extra thick, and features a design inspired by sovereigns minted in Sydney between 1855 and 1866. It also includes two notable embellishments: a platinum-plated St Edward's Crown and a "70" privy mark to mark the 70th anniversary of the Queen's accession to the throne. Number 276 of 300 made.
