It is positioned as a feature-balanced, more affordable option in Apple's lineup, featuring high precision and low latency. Charging/Pairing: Uses a USB-C cable for pairing and charging, with the port hidden behind a sliding cap. Attachment: Attaches magnetically to the iPad for storage but does not support wireless charging, unlike the 2nd generation Pencil. Performance: Offers low latency, high accuracy, and tilt sensitivity for shading. Hover Support: Supports Apple Pencil hover when used with iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th generation) and 11-inch (4th generation).
