The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is Apple's most rugged and capable smartwatch, featuring a durable titanium case, an ultra-bright 3,000-nit display, and advanced features for outdoor adventurers and athletes. Processor: Powered by the custom S9 SiP (System in Package) chip, which enables faster performance, a brighter display, and new features like the "double tap" gesture. Display: Features Apple's brightest-ever Always-On Retina display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits for excellent readability in direct sunlight, dimming to 1 nit in the dark. Durability: The 49mm case is made from corrosion-resistant aerospace-grade titanium and features a flat sapphire front crystal. It is tested to MIL-STD 810H standards and has a water resistance rating of 100m, suitable for recreational scuba diving to 40m. Battery Life: Offers up to 36 hours of normal use and up to 72 hours in Low Power Mode. GPS: Equipped with precision dual-frequency GPS (L1 and L5) for incredible accuracy in dense urban environments or remote locations. Action Button: A customisable orange Action button on the side gives quick physical control over various functions, such as starting a workout, dropping a Compass Waypoint, or beginning a dive. New Gestures and Siri: The new double tap gesture allows users to interact with the watch without touching the display (e.g., answering calls, stopping a timer). On-device Siri processing means faster responses and the ability to log health data without a network connection.
