Hyena Drive System: Unlike many entry-level e-bikes that use basic cadence sensors, the Impel im-3 features a torque-sensor-based Hyena 36V, 250W rear hub motor delivering 45Nm of torque. This provides a highly responsive, natural, and smooth power delivery as soon as you pedal.Assistance Levels: It offers three power assist modes controlled via an integrated LCD display, capped at the UK legal limit of 15.5mph. Mode 1 delivers roughly 45% power, Mode 2 gives 69%, and Mode 3 pumps out a full 100% assistance for steep inclines. There is also a dedicated walking assist mode.Battery & Range: The bike features a high-capacity, frame-integrated 496Wh battery. It provides an average real-world range of 35 to 40 miles, but can achieve up to 75 miles on a single charge under optimal conditions in Mode 1. The battery is removable for off-the-bike charging and takes 5 to 7 hours to fully replenish
