In the fourth generation, Coros has added a number of new features to its Apex 4 GPS watch. The guiding principle: a watch that best meets the requirements of mountain sports enthusiasts. The agenda also included the highest possible resilience with the lowest possible weight. Coros therefore installed a titanium bezel, reinforced the suspension of the bracelets and used a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Of course, the watch also retains its famously robust battery life. In endurance mode, the 46 mm version lasts a maximum of 65 hours (with even higher recording accuracy and when playing music, the battery life gradually decreases). Robust improvements relate to the extremely quick loading maps, which are presented on the always-on MIP touchscreen with excellent sharpness of detail and strong color display. In general, the GPS algorithm has been improved to provide even more accurate position data. The barometer with two scales also helps you to check your altitude vertically. Thanks to the built-in loudspeaker, the watch now also provides you with acoustic turn-by-turn directions. The speakers and microphone also allow you to make phone calls (with a paired smartphone) and listen to or record voice messages. In conjunction with the Coros app, you can also create a complete activity journal in which you can record voice notes, photos and details of your adventures. Of course, the Apex 4 also determines your training status and progress and checks your recovery status and sleep quality. Together with the app, this helps you to analyze your training in the best possible way to make the most of your time.
