Item Description

The DeWalt DCH172N 18V XR Brushless Compact SDS Plus Hammer Drill is a lightweight yet powerful cordless rotary hammer designed for drilling anchors and fixing holes in concrete, brick, and masonry. Built with a high-efficiency brushless motor, it delivers improved runtime, durability, and consistent performance on demanding jobsite tasks. This ultra-compact SDS drill produces 1.4 J of impact energy with speeds up to 1060 RPM and 4,980 blows per minute, providing efficient drilling performance in concrete up to 16 mm diameter. The compact and ergonomic design helps reduce user fatigue and allows comfortable use in tight spaces or overhead applications. The tool features two operating modes (rotary drilling and hammer drilling), making it versatile for both masonry and standard drilling tasks. An integrated bright LED work light with delay improves visibility in darker work areas, while a lanyard attachment point provides additional safety when working at height. This body-only version is ideal for users who already own compatible DeWalt 18V XR batteries and chargers.
