Item Description

The mercury's neck is constructed from mahogany, offering great durability and resonance. The reason why many guitar necks are crafted from mahogany is because the wood responds really well to picking, strumming, and various finger techniques with equal ease. The neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard that delivers a very responsive, bright, snappy and crisp attack coupled with a smooth sustain. The Mercury's traditional short-scale parlour body size is incredibly comfortable to play, has a much bigger tone than its physical size suggests, and is much easier to handle and transport. This makes the Mercury a great choice for not just parlour lovers, but also travellers who want a larger tone compared to a mini acoustic, or younger players.
