Item Description

The Fluke 1503 Insulation Tester is a rugged, compact and easy-to-use tool designed for basic residential and commercial electrical insulation testing, as well as general maintenance and repair work. It offers reliable and accurate results for professionals in the field of electrical maintenance. The Fluke 1503 measures more than just insulation and is known for its durability and simple operation. Insulation Resistance Range: 0.1 MΩ to 2000 MΩ. Test Voltages: Selectable 500 V and 1000 V DC test voltages. Other Measurement Functions: Measures AC/DC voltage from 0.1 V to 600 V and resistance from 0.01 Ω to 20.00 kΩ. It also performs Lo-Ohms earth-bond continuity testing at 200 mA. Safety Features: Live Circuit Detection: Prevents an insulation test from being carried out if a voltage greater than 30 V is detected at the terminals, protecting the user. Auto-Discharge: Automatically discharges capacitive voltage from the circuit after testing, increasing user safety. Safety Rating: Features a CAT IV 600 V overvoltage category rating. Usability: Remote Probe: A remote test probe with an integrated test button is included, simplifying repetitive or hard-to-reach testing. Display: Large, backlit digital display for easy reading in various lighting conditions. Portability: Compact, handheld design weighing approximately 550 g, making it easy to transport. Power: Runs on four standard AA alkaline batteries, providing enough power for at least 1000 insulation tests. It also features auto power off to save battery life.
