Item Description

Voltage & Frequency: Measures AC/DC voltages and mains frequency. It can quickly measure voltage between Live-Neutral (L-N), Live-Earth (L-PE), and Neutral-Earth (N-PE). Insulation Resistance: Tests insulation integrity using select voltages (usually 250V, 500V, and 1000V) to find damaged wiring or potential short circuits. Continuity Testing: Checks low-resistance connections (like grounding and protective conductors) with a dedicated continuity beeper. Loop and Line Impedance: Measures the resistance of the electrical loop to ensure circuit breakers will trip quickly enough during a fault. It features a patented "Non-Trip" mode so you can test loops without accidentally tripping Residual Current Devices (RCDs). PFC / PSC (Prospective Fault Current): Simultaneously measures and calculates short-circuit current capability. RCD Testing: Evaluates RCD tripping times and tripping current levels (ramp test), ensuring safety switches cut off power fast enough during a ground fault.
