The Gamages Of London Limited Edition Hand Assembled Surtees Exhibition Racer Automatic Blue men’s watch draws its inspiration from a competitor who was never afraid to show off his ability. As the only person to conquer racing on both two and four wheels, John Surtees still stands as an iconic talent that helped cement Britain as a racing behemoth in the Grand Prix and Formula One Its 210 part 20 jewel hand assembled automatic movement pays tribute to Surtees intricate control behind the wheel. The open exhibition clear sky-blue dial hints at this control, while still leaving plenty of mystery to excite. The luminous hands and indices are complemented by a Day and Date function, and all is contained within a rich gold inner ring. The gold IP case and cobalt-blue leather bracelet, accented with lotus-red contrast stitching, bring the timepiece to circuit-like completion that highlights Surtees’ deft ability to conquer any type of track that lay below him.
